ASOS MOVEMENT Leather Loafers [Shoes – Shop here: http://www.asos.com/au/asos/asos-movement-leather-loafers]

I’ve been on the hunt for loafers since last year and I finally found one within my budget! Of course, I had been lusting over the Gucci Jordaan loafers for the longest time but I couldn’t bring myself to fork out the $800. I found these ones on ASOS and they are probably the closest I could find. The upper is entirely leather and it has a synthetic inner lining and sole.

They’re not the comfiest of shoes as they rub a little at the back and are extremely stiff when you first get them. I’m still trying to wear them in as much as possible, hoping the leather will soften up. Pairing them with some stockings or sheer tan socks seems to help a lot but I would recommend coming prepared with some bandaids if you’re going to wear them and walk about a lot for the first time.

Wearing this skirt brings back good memories of shopping along 4th street promenade in Santa Monica, and New Years Eve. It’s probably one of the more versatile and comfier skirts I own. Really wish that American Apparel was cheaper in Australia, but then again it’s probably a good thing for my bank account that it’s not aha. So despite dissing platform sneakers when I was over in Asia a few years ago, I actually really like these and have worn them a countless amount of times. I won’t lie, the gold accents are what sold me though ><
